Ensuring alignment with the tenets of Nursing Professional Practice, the Talent Acquisition Partner provides recruitment services to customers to assure the attraction, selection to contribute to the retention of high quality employees in positions for which a nursing license or certification is required, including registered nurses, nurse practitioners and nursing leaders. The Talent Acquisition Partner represents OHSU Nursing with professional enthusiasm and service excellence as one of the first contacts for individuals seeking or considering OHSU nursing job opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
Manages all phases of the recruitment process consistent with law, collectively bargained provisions and organization policies and procedure to assure high quality candidates are provided to the hiring manager timely, to include including advertising and other sourcing, applicant screening, confirming a qualified applicant pool, credential verification, reference checks, calculation of offers, coordination of offer letters, responding to applicant inquiries and record keeping.
Participates with nursing leaders to develop and implement strategic recruitment plans that achieve staffing goals and provide a foundation for, the development, progression and retention of a highly competent and motivated workforce.
Coordinates the implementation and assessment of recruitment strategies for nursing, including identifying sourcing tools, developing and deploying electronic support systems, etc. to assure effective, efficient and cost sensitive recruitment solutions.
Acts as resource to leaders in the application of Professional Practice concepts to the hiring process to assure leaders are equipped to accurately and comfortably achieve quality hires.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Nursing or relevant field, or equivalent combination of education, experience and training relevant to recruitment of nursing professionals.
- 5 years progressively responsible experience that provided the opportunity to manage recruitment and employment activities.
- Prefer candidates with corporate recruiting experience, focusing on healthcare/nursing positions. Also prefer candidates with human resources certification.
